World Book Day - 20 Years in the making!

World Book Day
This year we shall be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March 2017, with hundreds of other school children around the world. In keeping with our celebratory theme of 20 Years, as the school celebrates its 20th birthday, we would like the children to come dressed as a character from a book that has been published for the first time in the past 20 years. To find a suitable character it may be helpful to ‘Google’ books first published in the last twenty years, which should generate a wide variety of books written Julia Donaldson and of course ‘Harry Potter’ by J.K.Rowling. We ask that the children bring a copy of the book, from which their chosen character is taken, to school with them on World Book Day.
