Key Stage One Christmas Production!

Posted On: 22 December 2017

“As always,” said a parent who came to watch, “Another superb Church Langley production!”

Despite a lack of a dress rehearsal due to the snowy weather, the children performed brilliantly! Each class had been kept busy learning songs and dance moves to accompany the lyrics, and the children in Year Two (plus a few Year Ones) had been kept particularly busy learning lines! The story began with Year 2 children who were angels, fairies and elves. The elves believed that Christmas was all about Santa, but the angels informed the elves that Christmas was about a baby called Jesus.

Reception children, who were in their pyjamas, listened to the angel Gabriel telling them the Christmas story as a bed time story. As the story was told, other Reception children and some Year Ones were busy ‘Bethlehem-ers’, whilst the remaining Year One children were shepherds. All of the children did a fantastic job and spread a bit of Christmas magic!
