As a school these schemes help us add extra equipment like sports kit and computers which help in encouraging our pupils to live both active and healthy lifestyles and to provide extra facilities and equipment to expand our learning and knowledge. Every voucher counts so remember to collect them and drop them into the school reception
Church Langley Primary School is Listed number 21 in the national schools VALUE ADDED tables (The Independent - 2nd Dec 2009). We are the only school in Harlow to feature in the list and the top school in Essex (the next best was listed at 50 and was a school in Chelmsford) What does value added mean? Schools are ranked according to whether pupils have achieved better than predicted for them in the tests. A score of 100 means they have got exactly what was predicted - a higher score means they have done better. Church Langley scored 103.3. Mrs Ward says “This is an excellent performance and thanks go to all the teaching and learning support staff at the school. The hard work and commitment of all ensures that every child at the school regardless of ability is enabled to achieve their personal best - This is what value added is really about. Well done and congratulations to all.”
