Art in Year 1 (2024-2025)

In Year 1, the children have been developing their sculpture skills by bending, folding and twisting paper to create 3D sculptures. They have been mixing colours and exploring how to make different lines using paint. After reading ?Polar Bear Polar Bear What Do You See?, the children followed step-by-step instructions to draw pictures of polar bears and penguins. In addition, they have explored pinching and shaping clay to make a model penguin.
