3 tees success for Church Langley Year 2s

Posted On: 13 June 2015

12 teams + 6 schools + 6 players + 3 tees = lots of fun! Over 80 children from Year 2 came together to compete in the second annual 3 tees Cricket Festival at Church Langley Primary School.

Teams from Pear Tree Mead, St Lukes, Milwards, Harlowbury, Tanys Dell and Church Langley played some outstanding cricket in very warm conditions. The children were a real credit to their schools and competed in a very sporting manner. Having played some pool games, the teams were re-grouped with Church A and C, competing in the top tier against St Lukes A; all three teams finished on the same points (having lost one and won one!) so a run count was required.

The final positions were as follows:

1.       Church Langley A

2.       St Lukes A

3.       Church Langley C

4.       Pear Tree Mead A

5.       Milwards

6.       Harlowbury

7.       Church Langley B

8.       St Lukes B

9.       Pear Tree Mead B

10.   Tanys Dell

11.   St Lukes C

12.   Church Langley D
